I had a blowout, finally. felt like 100%, and then the dry heat brought me back to Earth. I couldn’t hear for part of the day... but that couldn’t stop me—like I’d danced the night away by the loudspeaker.
(after my appointment) I explored a Buddhist temple—one of the most well-organized and holy places I‘ve visited. I burned some incense.
Dharma is all about remaining open to possibilities.
It reminded me our time on earth is short. A part of a whole. Everyone I know I will watch die or they will watch me die.
Everyone’s time comes
Say “I love you.” to those closest to you. Keep traditions. My coiffeuse said some things that highlighted how much we need to cherish who we have, where we are going, and where we came from. They all serve who we are. We can always look for another door, even a window. But there’s only one of us. Just like it’s quick and easy to think that the grass may be greener on the other side—you can’t be in both places at once. It’s just not possible.
Chase your dreams on 10. And be kind. Don’t burn bridges too.
I’ve burned a few bridges when I moved fast and broke everything in my path. For what? The high, power? Power is short-lived, an ego-fueled illusion. Choose better.
I know I am.
